Hard floors show every shortcut. Here is a simple, repeatable routine for daily care and periodic restoration on sealed and unsealed floors.

Hard floors are the most-seen surface in any facility and the least forgiving of shortcuts. A consistent daily routine, plus periodic restoration, beats occasional panic deep-scrubs and protects the floor over its lifetime.

First, know your floor

Sealed floors tolerate damp mopping and a wider range of cleaners; unsealed or porous floors need gentler, lower-moisture care to avoid staining and damage. Match the method to the surface before you pick a product.

The daily routine

  1. Dry sweep or dust-mop first to remove grit that scratches.
  2. Damp-mop with a properly diluted cleaner; do not over-wet the floor.
  3. Change the water before it turns grey, dirty water just redistributes soil.

Dilution makes or breaks the result

Too strong leaves residue that attracts dirt; too weak does not clean. A concentrate dosed to spec keeps it consistent. See our hard floor cleaner for the right dilution.

Periodic restoration

On a schedule, do a deeper clean to lift built-up soil, and re-seal sealed floors when wear shows. Our application guides walk through the steps in detail.
