Nature’s Pond Cleaning grows out of Koenders Water Solutions, the Canadian company that has spent more than 30 years keeping water clean the natural way. Same beneficial-biology science, now put to work on the surfaces around us.

Most cleaning comes down to a trade-off: something gentle and natural, or something that actually works. We were never willing to accept that, because we had already spent decades proving you can have both.
Nature’s Pond Cleaning is built on the beneficial-biology science our parent company, Koenders Water Solutions, has trusted since 1988. The result is a line of bio-based concentrates that genuinely perform, made by people who have been doing this far longer than “natural” was a marketing word.
Where it began
It started in the water
In 1988, Koenders Water Solutions began with a simple idea: that farmers and pond owners deserved a natural, cost-effective way to keep their water clean. The answer was aeration, adding oxygen so that beneficial bacteria could do the work harsh chemicals were never meant to do.
That windmill was the start of something bigger. Over the years we learned exactly how to put living, beneficial bacteria to work, breaking down the organic matter, grease, and odours that ordinary products only cover up. The company has since grown to serve more than 100,000 customers.

Where we are now
From the pond to every space you clean
For years, our work was about cleaning water after it had been used. The bigger opportunity was to stop chemicals from reaching that water in the first place, in the homes, schools, offices, and facilities where cleaning happens every day.

Koenders Water Solutions is founded
The company begins in Saskatchewan with wind-powered aeration, a natural way to keep farm dugouts and ponds clean using oxygen.
1990s
Aeration goes electric
Electric aeration systems follow, bringing the same natural water-treatment approach to more ponds, lagoons, and communities.
2007
Nature’s Pond Conditioner launches
Working with biologists and water engineers, the team creates an all-in-one, chemical-free pond conditioner powered by beneficial bacteria and bio-enzymatic blends.
